1. About Us
Harrwoods Timber Co supplies handcrafted timber products, including pre-designed and custom-made furniture, vanities, doors and other timber joinery products throughout Australia.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, placing an order or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms of Service and our associated policies, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.
3. Products
All products are handcrafted using natural hardwood timber.
Due to the natural characteristics of timber, every piece is unique. Variations in grain, colour, knots, gum veins, texture and natural movement are normal and are not considered defects.
Product photographs are intended as a guide only. Actual products may differ slightly from those displayed.
Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of our products.
4. Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Many of our products are manufactured specifically to each customer’s selected size, timber species or configuration.
Once production has commenced, custom or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements, selections and specifications are correct before placing an order.
5. Pricing
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices include GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order prior to dispatch. Customers will be offered the option of proceeding at the correct price or receiving a full refund.
6. Orders
An order is not accepted until confirmation has been provided by Harrwoods Timber Co.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order where:
- Products become unavailable.
- Payment cannot be processed.
- Incorrect pricing has occurred.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment methods offered through our website.
Orders will generally not enter production until payment has been received unless otherwise agreed.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided as a guide only.
Production and freight timeframes may vary depending on product type, timber availability, customisation and freight provider schedules.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Customers should inspect all products upon delivery and notify us promptly if any transport damage has occurred.
9. Installation
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, installation is the responsibility of the customer.
Products should be installed by suitably qualified tradespeople where appropriate.
We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect installation.
10. Product Care
Timber is a natural material that responds to changes in humidity and temperature.
Customers should follow the care and maintenance recommendations supplied by Harrwoods Timber Co.
Failure to properly maintain products may affect appearance and longevity.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
12. Returns & Cancellations
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Custom-made or personalised products are generally not eligible for return simply because the customer changes their mind.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, including photographs, logos, graphics, designs, product descriptions and written content, remains the property of Harrwoods Timber Co.
No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
14. Website Availability
While we aim to keep this website available at all times, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, modify or temporarily suspend the website without notice.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harrwoods Timber Co is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products.
Our liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
